    Dear receiver,

    Thank you for reading this. 

    First of all, I would like to note this is not a spam email. My name is Ivan Panine as some of you will remember. I'm sending this email because I'm in trouble and could really use your help. 

    While writing this email, I find myself in the Douglas Mental Institution with a Bipolar diagnosis. Nobody is perfect, and neither am I, but please don't judge me solely on this diagnosis. While undergoing treatment I'm facing legal troubles with the place I live; Sindicate Ave. Des Sommets 200. This led to a misunderstanding with the Montreal Police. On top of that I'm dealing with a divorce and remarriage after my children were abducted to Moscow, Russia by my previous wife.

    I admit these are not the highlights of my life. Yet, I keep going and try to make sense of it. Just like you would. For those who know me; you can affirm I am a non-violent free thinker with interests in philosophy, writing, acting and creating. This may sometimes make me come across as strange and misunderstood having unique approaches. But I mean well. 

    This makes it hard for me to comprehend what's happened to me recently, and why I could seriously use your help in normalizing the situation, defending my rights and repairing the damage done. I am....rather desperate.

    While being down, people have been working behind my back to gain from my situation. Not only is it extremely unfair; it also paints my future as uncertain and exhausting. 

    On a side-note: for those of you who do not know me very well; I was born in Russia. I've moved to Canada a long time ago and feel like a true Canadian citizen as I fully integrated into the Canadian lifestyle. What's happening in the country I was born in worries me as my children are there. 

    So there you have it; a humane plea for help in desperate times. Please ask questions if you need more information, do what you deem necessary to solve this case fair. I love my kids, I love Canada, and all I really want is to reshape my family and live a fulfilling life. 

    Below you will find a letter addressed to Legal Aid Canada for support, giving an overview of the the scope of my problems.
